My husband and I ordered a pizza and a Stromboli for delivery. The pizza was fair, not great. The Stromboli was cooked about a fingernail's thickness on the outside, and the rest of the dough was over an inch all around of gooey completely uncooked dough. At first, I thought it was just some of the cheese, until I ate some and felt the texture and salty, yeasty flavor. We threw it out that night. I felt fine that evening, but the next morning my stomach was bloated and hurt (a lot) from eating raw yeast dough.

JT's is solid. Especially for Hampstead, after some terrible pizza places. The pizza is tasty, the price is right and the service is great. Their lunch special, two slices and a drink is great. Their Italian sausage is good as well. Folks who complain about JT's probably complain about getting checks in the mail. This place is money man.

The pizza here is so good I drive all the way from Wilmington for the pizza. I usually get one extra pizza to go for the rest of the week. Yes it's that good and worth every penny. Someone said there isn't much cheese on this pizza. Are you sure you're reviewing the right place? There is so much cheese in this pizza that it stretches at least 12 inches when you try to take it off the pan. The first time into an extra pie to go I made the mistake of having them cut it. Well when I heated the whole pie on a pizza screen the cheese ran everywhere. And this is not crappy cheese either. If you know pizza you know this is the real deal. Crust is chewy and perfect. If you like uninspired fast food pizza and don't know what real pizza should taste like you may not like this. They are a little lite on the toppings but definitely not on the cheese. But frankly the cheese pizza is so good the toppings take away from the perfection that is JTs pizza. The pizza is inexpensive for the quality of the pie. Ambiance. It's a take out place in a strip mall with perfect pizza. I go there for the food and feel lucky they have a place to so I can enjoy the pizza while it fresh. Family run and they are very nice. Did I mention its a great value? Honestly I don't get the negative reviews and can only assume they are from competitors trying to bring these guys down. Just try the pizza and you will be hooked.

If you're looking for great, authentic thin crust pie, then this is a real find. I'm not sure what the others on here know about what pizza is supposed to be and what a real pizza place is like, but this place rocks. I'm originally from NY, and consider myself to be a pizza snob. I cannot speak to the rest of the menu, but the thin crust is perfection. It is real pizza made by people who obviously know what real pizza is supposed to be. Staff is friendly and attentive. So strange to find a great pie out here! Love JT's! One reviewer mentioned uninspired decor. Really? Who goes to a strip mall pizza place for decor? Go for a good slice of pie, and you won't be disappointed.

Probably the worst take out pizza I have had. Hard crust not enough cheese chewy sausage. I have had way better frozen pizza
